I design and mix sound across film, television, documentaries, games, and live experiences.
I’m the founder of Defacto Sound, where we partner with filmmakers, studios, and global brands including Netflix, HBO, Disney, Warner Bros., Apple, and Nike. Over the past 25 years, I’ve mixed award-winning films and led sonic strategy for national and global campaigns across entertainment and brand storytelling. I’ve always been fascinated by the scale of the sound world and how it shapes culture, memory, and emotion.
In 2016, that curiosity led me to create Twenty Thousand Hertz, a documentary podcast about the stories behind the world’s most iconic sounds. The show has surpassed 35 million downloads and received four Webby Awards and five Ambie Awards, including Best Production and Sound Design, Best Indie Host, and Best Entertainment Podcast.
In 2025, that work expanded into YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok where I bring viewers inside the highest levels of modern sound production and the people who shape it.
